I know. And instead it is stuck at a garage who are not inclined to look I suspect as they might not get paid extra. I must be the only woman on a mechanics course soon I suspect, can't have this too often!

Bring your van home and fix it yourself - you'll learn more, bond with your van (very important) and the garage won't have a chance to break anything else!! (and then maybe take a look at the other work they've done to see if it's dodgy!!)

If I didn't have two v young whippersnappers and no off street parking I think I would (even though I've never been under a bonnet before in my life!)
