as above
looked at the bentley & vag booklet for a jx etc, everything fine there & understood.
will i be able to remove the engine with the camper on a pair of ramps , will these be high enough? or are we talking sump off?
i was hoping to use a motorbike lift platform which is very low to fit under large bike etc for lowering the engine etc.
thanks in advance as always

Hello, i removed mine(with ancillaries removed first) last year on the garden without ramps or raising the van, i lowered it onto a sheet of ply and pulled it out from under the van. I'm not sure if it would go with ancillaries still in place.

To answer your first question, yes ramps are high enough without having to remove the sump. We use a trolley jack with a wooden cradle to lower the engine.
