I was looking to fit one to a 2.0 CU Aircooled, had a chat with the man at VWspeed shop very helpful. I was looking for a bit more techincal detail before I parted with my cash. All he could say it was all on the website, but he did sound as though he knew his stuff.

We are back to the questions.. Will I get better MPG and power from it to justify the outlay.

I was just curious Em, only as some people change their FI cars back to carb/s and or gas whereas this looked to be a whole new piece of kit. At that money, I think I'll pass and stick with the carb and perhaps gas later on

Thanks for the offer though :ok

.

Google Paul Hamilton

The guy is a genius and has his name on numerous engines fitted in Aircooled drag cars, has raced to a very high standard himself back in the day.

Hs a dyno in his workshop and does all his own R+D and mapping.

Uses DTA stuff which is well respected.

Built a bog standard 1600tp for me with throttle bodies DTA s40, drove like a dream :ok

No worries EM

No, I was initially looking at their S/S exhausts and then saw those and wondered if anyone had fitted one, just of of interest really.

I might LPG the van one day, but I dont do that much mileage really so I dont think I'd really see a financial benefit whereas the exhaust has seen better days
