flexoid gasket paper

Post by itchyfeet »

Got some of this in different thicknesses from ebay for those hard to get or silly price gaskets
Anybody used it ?
It looks ok but interested to hear any comments good or bad

A quick google says its good for water fuel and oil
Thanks

Same as other makes for that purpose. Always make my own gaskets.

Depends upon the situation - if the face is pitted or scored I may use a smear if I cannot reface the joint easily. Usually the manual section dealing with the part should say if jointing compound were needed.
