Wanting to get the hang of doing this as I've forgotten. Anything I don't do regularly and it floats off out of my brain.

theyve uploaded fine fine fine oops same as you wrong button :lol:
a few of the screen repair as cut out and so forth would make good viewing

great, I should remember the sequence if I put some more on. I'm a bit of a donosaur with computers though. I stripped my other one down and repaired it and it worked fine for a day, now its playin silly buggers again and most of my pics are in there. Going to try to get them out and post some more. Are we allowed to put pics of non vw reno jobs on here ? The red is vw chianti red, we like a nice chianti.

prefer a good white but :D yes some may complain but i post hundreds of picks per resto,plus my other hobby,,,,, food :wink: makes reading easier and maybe helps a few folk,always good to see other methods of the same repair as learning is a never ending task and i for one find new stuff out all the time.
