Clutch pedal/cable link snapped!

Post by Tysoe »

Hi guys,

Just as i got to work this morning i thought my clutch cable had snapped but on further investigation it#'s the linkage between the clutch cable and the clutch pedal. The metal bracket that the end of the cable with the ball on it attaches to.

the part on the far left of this image

Does anywhere stock this part or will i need to repair the part?

I've had a quick look around but can't see anywhere that stocks it.

Cheers

No longer available. Last one it did if it is broken where they normally go where the cable fits, is to weld a nut with a slot cut in it for the cable to fit through at the bottom of the link.

Thanks. Welded it along the bottom and cut the slit back in.

Gear change is also much better now as had to readjust the clutch cable to refit. Been meaning to do it for a while so all's well that ends well. My van has a funny way of forcing my hand to get those little jobs done :)

Let's hope you have changed the oil regularly then!
