Indicators stopped working

My indicators have stopped working. I have looked at the wiki and not found anything that relates. I cleaned up the earth crowns a few months back and crimped new connectors for each cable so these should be fine. All other lights seem to be working ok which would seem to point to the relay.

When I turn the indicator or hazzard warning switch the relay clicks but does nothing else I would expect the indicators to come on and not switch off, but they are not. The green led on the dash comes on and stays on. All fuses look to be ok but I haven't tested them. Perhaps the relay is sticking ? And not switching but. Would expect the lights to come I and stay on. I will hopefully have a better look tomorrow.

Anyone had this problem.

Does sound like the relay is sticking/faulty.

The way the indicators are wired is that the relay would turn the lights off (rather than turn them on) when the relay clicks - also the green indicator on the dashes flashes in the opposite sense to the externals lights (i.e. green dash lights on when the indicator is off, and vice versa).
So everything looks like it is functioning as advertised except that the relay isn't cycling.

New relay time I'd suggest!

Today, I took the relay out gave a little tap and refitted, now working fine
