Vehicle paint colours

Post by moxy »

I want to repair and touch up a few dents, but I'm blowed if I can find out what the colour is. The label is missing from the driver's door pillar, so I can't refer to that, and by using the local panel bashers paint chart you could plump for 6 colours. It's a T25 maroon? and cream, [it's the maroon colour I need], first registered in 1980, but could have been made earlier I assume. Any help would be appreciated, regards, moxy.

Mine is a RH drive and colours are noted on plaque under dash on my side :) Try there.

Have a look in members pride and joy for 1980 T25s Is it anything like my vans colour?

Mine is orient red and ivory, when it went in for its MOT a couple of years back the head honcho reversed it off the ramp and the sticking out vice handle put a 2 foot groove along the slider and rear panel. They repaired it but despite giving him the original paint (spare) they painted it slightly lighter than the original....I'm still waiting for it to 'age' so it will blend in...fat chance now.
