poping sliding door

The sliding door on my1991pops off the catch pretty much as soon as I pull away. I've tried all the adjustments, but nothing seems to work. It doesn't open fully, just opens an annoying gap.
What's he trick?

mines kept doing the same. took the inside panel off and found the wire from the handle to the catch was sitting over the insulation so the catch was always slightly under tension so any knock and the door would pop. put the wire in behind the insulation and have had no more problems, might be worth a look.

also seen on the site that the catch can get splayed open, so needed to taken off and tapped to slightly close it.

Adjust the striker pin outwards by 1 mm at a time, 15mm spanner I think.
