Vibration under hard acceleration
Hi guys I've got a vibration from somewhere engine/gearbox area I think it happens when you hard accelerate and goes as soon as you ease off when you have reached the speed you want to travel I'm running afn with flipped passat/Audi box so if anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thanks

Re: Vibration under hard acceleration
sounds stupid but check exhaust/valance/engine mount clearance..
Under acceleration the engine will rock "backwards" and 'tings may be touching

Re: Vibration under hard acceleration
Also check driveshaft clearance. I had a similar problem on the first test drive due to one of the driveshafts touching the engine mounting cradle under hard acceleration. The clearance issue was due to dropping the cradle 40mm and was easily sorted.
Good luck and keep us posted.
