Can anyone answer this?
How easy and how much would it cost to install a front diff on a syncro that originally only had a rear diff?

i take it you mean a locking front diff?
about £450-550 depending on the condition of your VC and yes its very easy

Yes I did mean a locking diff.
What else other than the actual dif is required (i.e. control knob) and are all the parts easily available?
