Gearbox part suppliers

Post by matt_wannabe »

Iv had some trouble with my box recently so decided to remove it and send to an expert. He has identified the problem but says he cannot find any who sells the parts required. he said it needs the bearings replacing on selector rails but i could really do with an exploded diagram so i know exactly which bearings are needed. So if any can shed any light on suppliers or provide a diagram that would be perfect. Im not sure of the box code but its a 5 speed from a 1.6td. Thanks in advance.

Thanks that's great. Is that catalog web based or a program?

just found it at VWheritage:
http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Bal ... _GB,GB.htm

It is a program called ETKA, but there are some pages with the pictures like this:
