Earth Crowns
I've seen reference made to the earth crowns on a few different threads now and purely out of curiosity I wondered if anyone would tell me exactly where they are, and if they are accessible with the dash still in-situ? I understand that checking/cleaning them is a good first port of call when suffering any strange or irregular electrical faults. My van is an LHD 1983 1.9 Petrol Westy btw. Many thanks in advance.

Re: Earth Crowns
The fuse box will be slightly different on yours

And yours is LHD - so the fuse box on the driver's side under the dash... Unscrew the fuse box and look up and to the left and you'll see them!

Re: Earth Crowns
Great! Thanks for that Aisha. And I'll gather together some pics of my van and send 'em your way. I love the Escorial Green personally and it seems to be a fairly uncommon colour too? Incidentally, few years ago I tried to get a small can of touch-up paint made at Halfords and they couldn't match the colour? I gave them the paint code but it was way off, and not just that my van had faded over time (which it has a little btw
) Anyway, I went to a local air/watercooled bodyshop after that and they matched it perfectly so all good in the end.
