I have recently bought a propex heater for my t25 where is the best place to wire it to, the battery or the zig unit

Direct to leisure battery with its own fuse.

And remember, if battery isn't up to scratch or supply leads from battery to Propex are not thick enough, it'll struggle to fire up.
