Sliding window rattle

Post by oddnumber »

Hi chaps, got a bit of ay annoying vibration from the sliding window on the van. Its the sliding pane that has play. Is there an easy fix for this? It's getting a bit louder day by day

I have the same problem - was thinking that some sticky-back felt tape on the inside of the pane where it sits in the metal channel might solve it (but would be fiddly to apply meatly I think) - but would be interested to see if anyone has any other ideas.

Cheers Midlife! Funnily enough after buggering about rooting for ideas, I came across some of those felt pads that you stick under chairs and stuff - a couple of those strategically placed should, in theory, do the job. Will let you know ...
