Where to fit a sender for a water temp guage?

Where to fit a sender for a water temp guage?

Ok I ve had a sift through the forum and can find a shed load on fitting oil pressure/temp gauges but not a lot on the best place to fit the sender for a new water temp guage - any ideas anyone :)

Just curious, what is up with the one you currently have ?
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

best place is in or on the thermostat housing.
This is where the cooled coolant arrives after warm up.. and the hot coolant during warm up..then mixes together

I think I'm suffering from an extreme case of 'needle paranoia' and have lost all faith in my existing gauge as its all over the place! ! Fancy putting in a digital one - had a bit of banter with ghost over this some time ago but finaally getting round to doing something about it! !!
