T25 engine 1900 water cooled

I had a new engine put in my t25 a long time ago. Not long had it back on the road. I was reading the paper work and it said get it all tightened after 600 miles. Where would I start if was going to do it my self

Start by reading the Haynes. :ok

in there is the tightening sequence for the head nuts

buy a torque wrench to accommodate the values you will be tightening them to

If its wbx you don't retighten or you will break the head stud seals
Maybe worth adding your engine type to your posts/sig

JX engine is after 1000 miles and tightening regime per bolt depends on what type of cylinder head bolts were used i.e. specific torque vs 180º (or 2 x 90º).

Is this a flat 4 watercooled ?

If so what paperwork (and from whom) says "tighten it up" and I wonder what they are suggesting needs tightening up ?

Yes it is a flat 4 watercooled DG.

so all we need to know now is who put your engine is so people know that mechanic can't be trusted.

It had 3 engines that he put in for my dad and they where from volks spears. It was going wrong every time he got it back in the end the Kamper got left for 6years. It was my dads van. then he gave it to me. I was just lookin at the paper work that's 'why I needid to no what he was on about.

I think the engine is fine runs nice. Was looking at paper work and said Tightened after 600miles.

Does that mean it was tightened, or needs tightening ?

And what was / needs tightening ?
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here

Is it aircooleds that need a second stage of torque?

When you say "It" needs to be tightened, what bit are you referring to ?
