Made it back ok. Thanks for everything mike, can't believe it's fixed. I'm stoked.

ah good. i take it she performed faultlessly? i forgot to give you the phone cradle thing so buy another and bill me :lol: .also the tailgate strut. the n/s is missing the horseshoe clip....
i will pm you the wiring diagram for the colour changes.
also its chucking it down here so maybe good to keep a close eye on the interior to see IF and where any water comes in from the roof windows /skylight etc

Been quoted £500 to paint the gutters, which includes repainting the block Of colour on the sides of the hitop. We'll lose the strip of lighter brown between this and the gutter. A quick look through google images shows that there's quite a variation on how they painted Dehlers, so will look fine I think.
Chap said he can't guarantee paint as he can't adequately prepare the metalwork where the plastic moulding meets the gutter as there's too small a gap to get anything in it. Also includes filling some small holes in the top of the rear 1/4 panel and the gutter that runs across the back.

Sounds about right,there's a lot of fiddly work and masking,good that you have dehler ref picks to look at and compare

hehe, shall we say the biggest problem was removing the old roof, happy to weld them but im not taking another off, can send you the tools to do it though

Tracking down a decent westy interior is going to be a long process, so the old one is going back in for now. Have seen a couple on ebay.de, but too pricey. :ok
