heater blower wiring

On the wiki illustration, the blower fan shows three wires attached which makes sense of the wiring diagram in Haynes.
I have just got a replacement blower from Brickwerks and there are only two wires, red/white and brown. Do I need to split the red/white wire to feed the switch ?

Yes the brown wire goes to brown the red/white goes to the two yellow wires
