rust! where to start?

Post by ladyeleanor »

Ok, been away from here for ages with births, deaths and marriages, well actually only one of those things.

On the 4th camper and just want to keep it going as much as possible. So, 1st thing, rust! Would it be easier to get advice if I took a picture and posted?
The rust is surface "pooh", not all the way through but has started, what's the 1st thing I need to do?

I know, woman seeks help, but you lovely lot helped so much before Steph died, I had to come back.

Structural mounting points and chassis are the critical things, as our friend has said post good close-ups of the jacking points (front and back) behind the front bumper, where the rear wheel arches meet the cills, front wheel arches where they meet the front jacking points, along the underside of both side cills, round the windows if they are panel van cut-outs.

These will tell people like Metalmickey who can help you what you're facing.
