I'm new to this whole camping scene and i was just wondering if anyone's had any experience with a fridge similar to this, can't seem to get it to work/turn on http://postimg.org/image/aj1gygxdj" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://postimg.org/image/71zevhybb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://postimg.org/image/whl89s0fl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://postimg.org/image/rg5rbvp9p/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
oh and just saying the interior is semi professional/semi DIY so the fridge isn't specific to any conversion that I know of.
Any help would be most appreciated
Hi and welcome.
Afraid I can't be a lot of use as I don't recognise that fridge.
But it does look like that panel with the switches is a home-made 'bit' so it could be almost anything.
What does the green/blue block thing do? Is it a switch/lights or something else?
As marked it looks like the switch with '220v' on it would switch the fridge to run on mains power (when you are on hookup), and I'd 'guess' (and it would be a guess) that the switch above it would switch the fridge to run on 12v (i.e. when the engine is running). Does that LED light when you flick the switches (engine off and on)
Does the fridge have any serial numbers/make/model information ?
Do you have a gas supply running to the fridge?
Note also that these fridges take a good while to cool (i.e. an hour or more) and generally don't make much (if any noise) when operating so its often pretty difficult to figure out when the fridge is actually 'on'.
