Wiki says
"The 'thin wire to no charge light' on the T25 (T3) is blue and runs from the alternator, behind the fuse box to pin 11 on the multi-pin connector behind the dash. You can connect into it almost anywhere but I would recommend behind the fuse box if going for the front of the van as the multi-pin connector and the thick-film circuit it plugs into are quite delicate and best not disturbed if working OK"
so if I look behind my fuse box there is an inch thick loom of coloured cables at least two of which are blue - any ideas on how I narrow down the options?

Picking up no charge wire???

re: Picking up no charge wire???
MrDenis,
I hesitate to commit myself, but the old "book of lies" wiring diagrams shows only one use for a plain old blue wire, (NOT blue plus another colour) and that is from terminal D+ on the alternator to E13 on the relay plate with a branch to "T2j" listed in the index as 2-pin connector, behind relay plate, and shown as having nothing connected to it. (Relay plate is where the relays are plugged in.)
So if you can find a blue wire with an unused connector at the end of it , I would say you are in business.
