Help with type 25 DG

Post by CitizenMoon »

I've just had diagnostic test on my van, is there a test current applied that could explain why my wipers and indicators have stopped working? hoping it's just fuses? also been told that I need a new dizzy, a bit hens teeth, I'm told? New, go easy. Thanks

Hi and welcome!
No way to go easy on this one, I'm afraid. The answer is that you probably need to find another garage who have some idea what they are talking about. Electrical problems as described are usually straightforward to find & fix, and the dizzy is readily available, and cheap (but do you really need one?). (Btw Don't buy the 009 recommended by Just Kampers!)
Sorry to be blunt.
Regards
Andrew

Here to learn. No great fan of JK, thought the dizzy would be a direct bosch replacent, any ideas on the indicators and wipers going together? Big co-incidence.
