Anyone fitted UNWIN tracking/seats ?

Post by sternal »

Hi

Has anyone fitted Unwin tracking system ? "Thinking" of buying double seat with 3 point seatbelt incorporated which can be had for £50ish from ebay and then buying fixing kit direct from Unwins total cost £150 plus my fitting time.

It will take up space in the rear but safety is paramount with young children, seats can be taken out supposedly quite quickly (so if camping take out and store under a tarp on site)

Thanks in advance

I have Unwin tracking fitted in mine so that I can quickly remove the middle row of seats for when I want to use the bus for camping. Works really well, and you can then attach such as a kitchen unit to the same tracking.

Look in the Cargo Control section of this website. http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/ May be cheaper than Unwin. Or get to a minibus breakers and get it second hand. That's what I did.

Yes, especially as I have the South African tank which is much longer than standard.

I had a measure today and it looks like I'd have to remove the tank can't think of any other way unless rails are sat further back ?

You should be able to manage by just lowering the rear of the tank, without disturbing the pipework to the front.
