1988 T3 Sliding door rollers

Post by serenitycamper »

Hey guys,

Got round to examining the rollers on the sliding door (the ones that run down the centre of the rear quarter panel on the u-bracket) and the main wheel that sits vertically is rusty and a bit buggered and the other two that sit horizontally sound like their bearings have failed. Is there anywhere to get replacement parts from? I have a twin slider so both sides need doing :(

The vertical roller wears through and splits in two.
change it now, don't wait until the door drops off, it's only a matter time!

Don't panic, there are no connected doors to speak of, hence the question. It's undergoing full restoration. It's the horizontal rollers that worry me; metal on metal and making a right nasty grinding noise. Worn out me thinks.
