Best value for money would be a EliteVW engine.
There are other options, and they include a used engine, preferably from a running van, from one of the breakers on here.

It all depends how deep you look and how patient you are I suppose.

Many engines will fit in the T25, a visit to the alt engines forum/brickyard will be enlightening

For me I would be rebuilding the engine I have.
