Blower fan help......
Hi, the blower fan didn't work when I purchased her, how will I know if it's the switch or the motor itself. I have checked the fuse.
Re: Blower fan help......
Park in front of a wall, pref at night, put your h/lights on and mainbeams, then put your blower on if the lights dim a bit, your motors gone.

Re: Blower fan help......
Or swap the switch out for a known good one.
If the switch is at fault there will be no dimming !
The fuse normally blows if the fan is duff but the switch is ok.
Could be both !
You could, if you are competent and have the equipment, test the switch and or bypass it to test and diagnose.

Result chaps. Part came £5, fitted it. Turned the switch, then a squeak and puff of dust from the vents. Full blower on one happy chappy

Mine squeaked for a while. I ignored it. Now it doesn't work anymore.
I'm not completely sure but I think that on some level I may be partially to blame.

Take off the the heater fascia by prising off. It is held on with two diagonal studs. Top right and bottom left. Push out the fan speed selector. Seperate in two. I then swapped the front piece, hey presto back up and running for around a fiver..
