What to do with my old exhaust?

Post by Hoopy_Frood »

I replaced my old exhaust with a shiny new VW Speedshop one and now I'm left with an exhaust that isn't particularly broken but can't really be used for other t25s (pipe bores are very small)

Is it worth trying to sell it? I've no idea if it's worth anything or even what it could be used for now.

Thanks

I've not taken in out for a proper run yet Steve. I gave it a quick blast round my estate and it seems fine - still running hotter than I would have hoped for and it will also need some adjustment as it has no power at low rpm, but goes ok when I put my foot down. Having researched it a bit, I think my carb might need adjusted (new idle jet?) and the timing looked at again. If I'm on the wrong track though, I'll gladly take any advice you can offer.

Thanks
