Gear linkage

Post by jonathonck »

Hi, i'm thinking of purchasing a T25 but the guy has said it will only go into 4th gear due to gear linkage underneath needing welding back. Is this a big job and would this be the cause of the problem with the gears? Cheers.

Run
well if it is so simple then get the guy to fix it so you can dri8ve it and test it then make a decision. failing that then knock £1500 off the price for a box rebuild, fitting and new stick and linkage.

there is nothing to weld.

do as metalmickey suggested, or walk away from it.

I suggest the latter.
