'Un-heated' front seat

Post by Yozza »

I have had to extend the electrical seat loom to reach the drivers seat (originally a LHD). However, when I fired up the motor and went to turn up the heat - nothing, not even luke! Checked the voltage from the loom (where it connects to the seat) and only 1v was showing  .

I've never tested the circuit prior to any changes I've made, so it could be a result of my workmanship  or it has always been faulty?

Any pointers appreciated, (before I start peeling back the heat-shrink on my extension).
