clutch lever arm removal
clutch lever arm removal - anyone know a sure-fire way to get one off (without explosives) or is it a case of grinding through old release fork and removing afterwards in a vice?

Aha - forgot I could remove bell housing. Smart idea. Yep, I think I could deal with it on that basis. Many thanks.
Other option I suppose is to cut through the fork shaft with an angle grinder (it has to go anyway) to at least get it out and deal with lever using a heavyweight vice and pry tools. Mine has flattened out where it makes contact with bearing. I must admit, since Marcus gave me a hand at the weekend and built up fork with weld, it runs sweet as a nut. In hindsight, it must have been bad for at least a year as I can't get over how quiet the van is now - and so slick on gear changes. However, I'd best replace the shaft.

if you heat treat the welded repair after filing it to shape it lasts years, only problem with welding insitu is the nylon bush can get melted
