BajaClub are inviting the Syncronauts to the third annual BajaClub Bash! Muttley91 joined us last year and rogerg-wagon in 2011 - it would be nice to have a few more of you guys along if you fancied it. The event is over the weekend of the 5th+6th October and is in Plymouth this time. We are spending the Saturday in Hemerdon Mine and the Sunday green laning.
There are some photos from last years event here - https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=108865" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We're camping here:
Venn Farm

Telephone: 01752 880378

The cost is £6 per tent plus £4 per adult, per night.
They seem very relaxed, so you can phone up and book (no deposit needed) or just turn up and camp. They have plenty of space.
If you're coming please post on here whether you plan to camp Friday and Saturday nights, or just Saturday night. Or just meet us in the daytime.
You're all invited to the 2013 BajaClub Bash @ Hemerdon Mine

Oh, and for those that took an interest in the 2CV last time - as of May it is now a 4x4!

I'd love to but I have too much going on, weekends in term time are a 'mare. I really should pull my finger out and meet the local AWDC branch too...
PS well done on the 4x4
I've just googled "2CV 4x4 images"

Hi Seth,
Just a bit too close to our Salisbury Weekend jaunt I am afraid, shame though as this is a great off road site, wide open with challenges going from "very minor non damaging" to "YOU MUST BE BONKERS" catagories, I started my off road driving here at the tender age of 17 with a trials prepped 1950s Ford Popular, that was in 1968 by the way!.
The Baja Club guys are a great crowd, very friendly and as keen a bunch of off roaders as you are ever likely to meet.
Very disappointing that more local Syncro owners don't want to go along.
