Replacing Carb on 1.9 DF waterboxer

Post by el_joe_gib »

Hi all,

Im pretty feed up with the Solex 34 PICT 5 carb on my van and I'm looking for a replacement, ideally would love fitting a twin carb setup but unfortunatley JustKampers and VW Heritage cannot help. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I like the solex carb :)
Not that I use it much as run on gas
I think your options are pierburg as on the DG and as i feel groan coming from the back " webber"
I see there is one recently listed on ebay -

Realistically - You are not going to get much more performance out of the DF engine (Sorry)
