Driving back from Devon today i seem to be having an intermittent clutch prob,it started to become hard to select first or second gear from stationary although the clutch pedal felt ok . this seemed to come and go .
a few weeks ago i replaced the pipe from flexi to the slave and bled it with no probs and it`s been going fine .
approaching a a junction i dipped the clutch changed down with no prob ant then the clutch seem to re engage even though the peddle was flat to the floor with full pressure still in the system and no spongy feel ! would i be correct in thinking thrust bearing probs ?

Re: clutch problems !
I'm still new to VW, but that could be a sticky thrust bearing or maybe check that you dont have random debris first. I once lost a pen behind the selecter gater and ended up with trouble getting third!
