Rear speakers

Post by Sleedale »

Not sure if this belongs here

We have two speakers in the back of the van, just inside the tailgate, hooked on to brackets, which look original as they are covered in the same original fire proof vinyl lining material, but they probably aren't original speakers, and even if they are - THEY HAVE TO GO

Because, every time I make the bed up, and I mean every time, I crack my head on the corner of these hideous box shaped speakers, and it blummin well hurts. Yes, I know I should have learned, I know I should be able to avoid them, but perhaps I'm just too old or too daft
So, is it possible to get flat profile, smooth, curved (anything without sharp corners) speakers to replace them? I've tried google but just come up with car speakers that fit into door panels and the like so I don't really know what to search for.
If a photo would help I can add one to this post

Thanks peeps

Aye, add a photo as it's hard to visualise to be able to come up with a working solution.
I have an idea in mind but would need to see first.
