engine trouble

engine trouble
HI I have a slight hesittion between 2,000 and 3,000 revs,worst when engine cold,holds top gear ok,Tick over ok,spark plug colour spot on,Have changed Module,coil,ht leads,complete distributor.Engine is standard,carbs-air cleaner ect.Cut off valves are tight and working.Mileage 120,000.Please Help.Rob.

Rob, what type of engine ? From your description it's Aircooled ? CT 1600 or 2.0 CU ? Carb type(s) ? etc etc
