Hi all,First time posting here and actually haven't bought a camper yet(this will change very soon),but my girlfriend and I are taking the plunge and moving to the South Of France(Nice) in January in a campervan.We will actually be renting an apartment when we get there,but as we only have musical instruments,clothes,bedding and kitchen stuff and NO FURNITURE we want to fulfill 2 dreams in a oner and this leads me to the obvious.Once we purchase a bus we really need a solid mechanic to make sure the engine will be as good as possible before embarking on the big trip.Of course our budget means we are looking at a 25-30 year old bus but as you all know there are some beauties out there.And being September a fair few are appearing on ebay and the like.Any suggestions for these 2 greenhorns is greatly appreciated-on any VW related business!

Took on a very capable VW mechanic for my camper hire business this summer, as the season is quietening down I now have less for him to do but would like to keep him on and busy over the winter, so if you have work that needs doing I can offer very reasonable rates. We are not what I'd call fully equipped but we are a damn sight cheaper than all the other places around and are capable of most jobs. Steve has very extensive experience of T3s and bays so if you need bits doing, big or small, give me a shout and we'll see if its something we can help with. Details as below.
