inlet manafold rubber seals

hi all what sort of job is it to replace the two rubber seals each end of the carb manafold engine is a 1600 ct air cooled in my camper
??? do i have to remove the two elbows each side or can i undo jubile clips and remove and replace rubber seals x 2 ????please help but not doing it in the rain

well i knuckled down to it inbetwwen showers hail & thunder and removed all inlet manafold parts and i think iv found the engine running problems
1 is left hand rubber joining manafolds together is split out of sight right under jubile clip
2 left hand side and right hand side manafol elbows gasket seal has been blowing leaking
the nice metal gasket was thier but some numpty used silicon seal on them
so dispite geting damp im sure on the way to fixing her
just need to order gaskets

When you order the gaskets for the manifold to cylinder head ,I think you can get card board ones I think ,which would seal better than the metal ones.

thanks for that yer i see some gasket kits come with paper ones i have fitted metal ones all i had but thay look good quality thay have crushing ridge seal
on them
