pros and cons of fitting TDI air filter

Thanks Andy, good to know there is some factory pipes out there.
I'm starting to think i need to really work this out so i get it how i want it.
things i want;
battery in engine bay
jx filter box
as much factory pipework as possible

I'm starting to think about moving the barrel chargecooler.. thinking of putting it low down horizontal in line with turbo, maybe even vertical in the back left corner with a elbow straight into inlet manifold... Might then be able to put filter box and snorkel back in standard location
