Head Rest Guides

Post by SamsBus2012 »

Anybody know if Mk1 Golf/Caddy head rest guides (the black tubes) are the same as those fitted to T25 seats? My vehicle is an 86, the head rest holes are in the back rests but no guides fitted (previous owner re-upholstered). Mk1 caddy head rests look identical.

Thanks for the offer - I think I ill take you up on it when you get back - the Caddy ones were cheap so I bought a couple to test - sadly they apear to be too short (about 4inches long) soo they'll be on ebay soon!. How much do you want for the proper T25 guides?
Cheers

How about a bottle of Morgans spiced? I've not had a drink in Four months so it would go down a treat!

What a price! I've just noted where you live - so on a serious note I would have to send you a cheque or something for you to post the guides down. If you get a chance could you measure them and let me know their length?

If you've got PayPal, then just send us a tenner once I get back, they were removed from a velle rear seat so unless anyone knows better they should fit fine. Unfortunately, my wife won't set foot in the garage for fear of spiders. But I'm home in ten days or so. I'll post em off to you as soon as I get a chance.

OK, so here's a closing update: MK1 Golf/Caddy head rest guides DO NOT FIT T25 seats even though the mk1 caddy head rest looks exactly the same! They are much shorter! So if anyone has a mk1 golf or caddy that needs new head rest guides... - I have 4 going at a good price!!
