timing to 5 deg atc avances approx 15deg with revs
That doesn't sound enough. I'd have thought you should be getting a maximum advance of 30' - 32' BTDC.
2ltr Aircooled CU with twin Solex's & originally a 009 dizzie, but now back to standard.
