Caravan solar panel kits - whats the verdict???

Intetesting stuff. My experience is v similar, i only have a 40 watt roof mounted panel with 15A reg . 2x led main lights, 2x small above bed led. 2x above pop top roof bed led. Stereo, phone charging and dvd player for several days on the trot. No probs.

Next plan is to wire a feed into the main vehicle battery to ensure both batteries are constantly being topped up.

I am so impressed its making me ponder what else I could do around the home with such panels and some leisure batteries.

Almost makes you wonder why new houses don't get built with special solar roof tiles or panels by law.
