Slow filling Syncro

Post by windy »

Is it usual for a Syncro to struggle to take on fuel (diesel) when the tank is only 3/4 full? I'd like to brim the tank to get some mpg figures but its incredibly slow to fill above 3/4. Had a search on the forum but couldn't find owt.

Normal behaviour for Syncros.

Have thought about driving onto a levelling chock at the fuel station and raise the filler side by the height of the chock and see if things improved, but never got round to it.
