Handsome those, I have been watching them for a while. Defiantly a gap in the market since they stopped making a decent Syncro Transporter

Re: Sika Syncro............Uncle Sam Style
Only more reliable, less cramped, quieter, better on fuel and not in need of constant maintenance !
Your right there is a gap in the market for a forward control.
I have been driving a hilux for the past few days towing my big trailer and thinking how good it was. The Syncro supposedly is not up to towing so I thought Landrover, but bolt lancruiser running gear and engine in....my SA mate said it had been done, and was still a cramped noisy bag of crap. So there is only the Jeep as a current contender to my mind.
Cheers
Rich

Re: Sika Syncro............Uncle Sam Style
Like a lot of concept vehicles: how are you supposed to climb in? No articulated steps, no grab handles, not even wheel hub extensions like a 101...
more pics: http://www.trucktrend.com/roadtests/pic ... to_37.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You really think that a GM-built truck like this will be more reliable than a Series Landy? Clockwork meccano vs. too much plastic and sensors everywhere?
Place your bets!

PS then read this

Plus it's got a 300 bhp V6 petrol engine that is rev-tastic:

Brand loyalty blinkers... VW didn't invent the wheel you know! You've got to have been around a bit to appreciate the fact, eh Andrew?

Absolutely! Experience accounts for everything and time filters the nonsense! There are so many enthusiastic, busy and energetic fools about!
