Clas Ohlsen leisure battery charger - will this work?

Post by Hoopy_Frood »

I'm looking for a charger for my Varta leisure battery, which I think is 75 Ah.

Will this cheap and cheerful charger work with it?

The spec sais it's for 1.2 - 20Ah batteries, with less than an amp charging current, so it would trickle charge something in there over a very long period, but not do a proper job of it. Have a look at the thread I started here for some options for proper leisure battery charger:-

I'm probably going for one of the cheaper 10 Amp chargers listed there.
