Banded Steels

Post by halfbakedpixels »

Has anyone banded the standard T25 14" Steel wheels and stretched the 185R14's over?
Did a google search and couldn't find anything.

have a look on t5 forum, lots of pics, there are loads of guys running em on their 5s, 9" n 10", AC fabrications at scarboro are doing a fair few sets up this way, they do look quite sweet IMHO. Tho, I run merc 16" they do 7" and 7 1/2" steels at bowt same cost as banding only brand new, only prob was mine were black when they came, but soon had em painted (as you would have to with banded)

At blackpool breeze the other weekend there was a scooby powered van that had a nice looking set of 14" banded wheels on, but think they were running larger tyres, they were painted white with hubcaps and looked great, I'm sure I'll have pictures on my camera which I'll post but it will be after the weekend

I can vouch for AC Fabs in scarborough, absolutely stunning work and at very reasonably prices. Looking to get my Mercedes rims sorted with Jim once iv got the money spare.

I had a set of standard 14" T25 rims banded last year , 3" added to the rears and 2" to the fronts, tyre-wise I have 185 on the front and 205 on the rears and I'm very happy with them
