Vw pop top help

I've just got back from the camper shak in burscough about renewing my roof bellows and he has informed me that it will need a trim to be fitted to the roof for the bellows to be attached, at the moment it's ju's siliconed and he said it shouldnt be! You guys any ideas what is the correct fitment to the put on the opening and sides? Cheers!
