I had a look at the engine on my new t25 and was a bit puzzled as to what these hoses are doing. I'm only just beginning to get my hands dirty and have a limited but slowly improving level of mechanical knowledge.
The first picture shows where in the engine bay they are (white arrow) and the second shows the hoses seemingly not attached to anything.
What are the other ends attached to? My guess is the air filter box. If so, they are for the air intake. Not original but no doubt do the job. Push one up through the snorkel so it is getting fresh cold air whilst driving.

They attach to the (unneccesary) warm air pick up which is round the o/s/f exhaust downpipe ... it is designed to provide warm air through the intake. Many people just remove the black box in that corner of the engine bay and discard the paper/foil ducting.
