Jk distributor for 2.1 dj is wrong

Post by hobart71uk »

Hi all, just thought I would let you all know the JK distributor for 2.1 DJ 1984 to 1992 is the incorrect one. I was in a bit of a fix and needed a new one pretty quick, the only place I could find one was JK. When it arrived it even has the wrong vacuum unit on it and no grounding terminal. The JK part number is J19786. Its also manufactured by JP Group which I've found leaves a bit to be desired (in my opinion from experience anyway). Hope this helps!

I know that only too well now! it pretty much was as a last resort but still didn't work out. Oh well, another lesson learned!
