I've spent most of today trying to fit a new pop top canvass onto my van. Down came the roof no problems at all until I started unscrewing the top rail where the majority of screws were rusty and they broke within the rail housing. With them drilled out I now intend to re-fill the holes with a plastic resin glue. Would anyone recommend against doing this if so what should I do and does anyone know where I can the correct screws for both the top and bottom rails. Any help or advice appreciated.

Re: Help or Advice Needed
i would use fibreglass chopped matt to fill holes and replace the screws with stainless so in future they are easy to remove if you ever need to
